Night Festival at Maravapatty
Maravapatty Village Church is beautifully decorated on the day of Night Festival. Each year two major festivals are celebrated joyfully to strengthen the spirituality of the people. First is in the month of February and the next is in Augest. Some other festival like Mother Mary festival are also celebrated to enhance the power of spirituality.

Night Festival: The major festival is celebrated for two day. on the first day the night festival is shown and day festival is celebrated on the following day. The car is decorated with colourful lights for night procession and it normally starts late night and end before the sunrise. The car is decorated with flowers and colourful materials for day procession.
Maravapatty Village
Maravapatty is situated about 9 km from Dindigul. It is one of the ancient village in the district. Christians live in the west region and Hindus live in the east part of the region. Agriculture is the source for peoples' economical development and the cotton industries around the region play a vital role in improving the status. Adaikalamatha Primary School and Infant Jesus High School enlighten the locality students.
